Team members dropped to their knees weeping as they were informed of their coach's passing throughout a contest in the Serbian SuperLiga

FK Radnicki 1923 coach the former international fell suddenly and underwent emergency care beside the field before being taken to hospital during his club's fixture at their opponents' ground on Monday

The professional game went on but was abandoned shortly before half-time when information of the manager's demise got to the stadium

Video of the game showed team members and personnel from both sides in emotional pain at the tragic information

The former Bosnian national team member, mid-forties, was just named manager of FK Radnicki 1923 on October 23rd

"Our club has been deprived of not only a excellent coach but most importantly a wonderful human being, a confidant, and a athlete who, with his knowledge, enthusiasm and character has left a deep mark on the emotions of all who were acquainted with him"

The Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Association said its "soccer family has been deprived of another dedicated sports professional" with his passing

"During his rich playing career, the coach represented numerous clubs in the first tier of the country, most notably HSK Zrinjski Mostar, FK Radnik Bijeljina and Borac Banja Luka, and he also wore the uniform of the country's representative side"

"After ending his athletic journey, he dedicated himself to coaching, guiding organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region"

Prominent teams also paid tribute, including Red Star Belgrade, who passed on their "deepest condolences"
